The names a person ascribes to their pets (and such) can tell a lot about them, I think. Me, I've had well-established pet naming conventions for decades. Even the deviations from the pattern have their own pattern, albeit a less obvious one.

My arms look like I tried to fist a cactus. Ah, the joys of having a kitten. But she's asleep by my feet as I work, and alternates her napping between there, my lap, and the nook in my desk where I keep my tablet. She greets me with a voice like a tiny glass bell and wide hazel eyes. I'm in love.

And to think, she was almost a barn cat.

Chaly was super active after her meal so I let her stretch out a bit, and she wore herself out. Now there's a snake napping in my lap with her head propped up on a crease in my pants. She's so freaking cute. <3

This is my happy of the day.

Trying not to squeal like a schoolgirl over an offer I got last night. Need to make an icon of Umbra with a madcap psycho glee grin à la Lackadaisy.

...I may have a silly corporate desk job but I'm on shift and there's a cat at my foot. Life ain't bad.
